Cape Town's vibrant city centre lies in a natural amphitheater sheltered by the wide arms of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Lion's Head. The tour takes you on a fascinating journey through the city, before heading to the base of Table Mountain. Travel by cable car to the top of the mountain, enjoying spectacular, panoramic views of the city and its mountainous surrounds. This evening join your group for a Welcome Dinner at Den Ankar Restaurant. Drinks are not included.

Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Follow the curves of the Atlantic coastline along magnificent Marine Drive, past the Twelve Apostles, all the way to the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay. Then wind your way towards the Cape Point Nature Reserve, hugging the spectacular cliff sides of Chapman's Peak Drive. Catch a ride up the funicular for a view of the place where the two oceans meet, then visit Boulders Beach to view the penguin colony.

Morning visit to Robben Island once used by the South African government as a prison for political prisoners and convicted criminals. We have confirmed all accommodation and services. Pricing has not been firmed from two of the lodges. Should we have an increase in price we will advise and offer a refund of the deposit you have paid should you wish to cancel. We do not anticpate any price increase.

Travel insurance is required for all guests covering all applicable dates of travel. This insurance must cover trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation coverage including during pandemic events. Proof of insurance is required.

Cancellations: 91 days and over prior to departure - loss of per person deposit(s), 90 - 61 days prior to departure - 60% per person of the total trip cost, 60 - 31 days prior to departure 90% per person of the total trip cost, 30 days to day of departure/no show - 100% per person of the total trip cost. An administration fee is applicable to all cancellations.
Additional supplier penalties may apply depending on the date of cancellation.
Amendments: An administration fee of $125 may apply to any changes made to your booking once confirmed, including but not limited to changes in pre/post trip accommodation and transfers. Please note that name changes are not allowed and flight changes are subject to availability and airline policies.
Refunds: No refund is available if cancellations occur after the trip has commenced or in respect to any trips, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized.
Itinerary Changes & Trip Cancellation: Further Afield Travel and Tours reserves the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. The advertised tours require minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met, Further Afield Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel arrangements.
Trip Membership: Any person aged 12 or more is eligible, through if less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The Travel Director may at his/her discretion, require any person to withdraw from any trip if he or she deems the person’s acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
