Last March Further Afield Travel and Tours held an information night about River Cruising. Within two weeks of that date, we had our trip booked. Booking with Sandy was a very easy task. Everything we needed done was completed by her without a single worry from us.

On departure day, we arrived at the airport to find our plane was delayed. within moments a call came from Sandy who had also just heard of the delay. Sandy had ensured our connecting flight was changed to fit our new schedule and called ahead to the boat to ensure our transportation from the airport to the boat was rescheduled. I was impressed to say the least of the extra effort made by our travel specialist to ensure no hiccups on our travels.

The trip itself was nothing short of spectacular. having never experienced this type of vacation I had no idea of what was in store. Blown away!! Every aspect of this experience was top notch, from staff, to rooms, food, day trips, boat facilities and even the guests. There is nothing I could have asked more for, I guess except for a few more days!

I will return on another river boat cruise in my future and, of course, look forward to the assistance of Sandy and her travel team!

It was a quick turnaround timeline as I was looking for a trip to the south in March. Their positive energy, personal attention and organization skills were outstanding. In only a few days from my initial inquiries I was booked into a Mexican holiday at a wonderful resort!! Any questions I had were immediately answered by phone, text or e-mail. Their personable and friendly nature made me feel taken care of and listened to as I described to them the type of holiday I desired.
